Description
Is there a more classically Greek flavour pairing than feta cheese, phyllo, honey and sesame seeds? Put them together and you create a crunchy, creamy, salty-sweet and moreish parcel. Who’s hungry?

- 2 x 200g Feta Cheese
- 4 sheets of phyllo pastry
- Olive oil or melted butter for brushing the pastry
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 4 Tbsp honey
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Pat the feta blocks dry with a paper towel and set them aside.
- To prepare one block of feta, lay out a single sheet of phyllo pastry. Brush the sheet of phyllo lightly with olive oil, then place a second sheet on top of the first, and brush lightly with oil again. Place the feta block at the top of the sheet and fold the phyllo over the feta, brushing again with oil, to seal the edges and create a neat phyllo parcel. Repeat for your second block of feta. Place the feta parcels in the fridge until needed.To Cook:
- Fry: Fill a pot 2/3 of the way (5cm) with oil and place over medium-high heat to preheat to 190 degrees C. Once the oil is hot, deep fry the feta parcels until golden brown and crispy.
Place the feta onto a paper towel to drain off excess oil.

Bake: Set your oven or air fryer to 190C, and bake until golden and crispy. - Place the feta parcels onto a plate, drizzle liberally with the honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
