Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make this using other fruits?
Absolutely! Feel free to substitute in any other berry you fancy, and enjoy!
Can I add other flavours into my jam?
I love adding spices and aromatics to my jam. The raspberry version works wonderfully with a little rosewater added at the end to taste. Add a small piece of star anise or a crushed cardamom pod into the warm fruit for a lovely aromatic note. Remove the spices once the jam has set and they have had time to impart their flavour. Another winning combo is to replace the water in the recipe for orange juice, and add a little orange zest.
Can I omit the sugar?
You can leave out the sugar entirely, or swap it for honey.
What can I serve my jam with?
Add your easy jam to these lovely vegan, gluten free crepes, a warm bowl of coconut oats , or add it to scones and toast,
